Iran's Revolutionary Guards said on Tuesday they hit US military targets including air defence systems in Bahrain and Kuwait, state news agency IRNA reported.
The Guards said they struck two air defence systems and a radar installation at two different US outposts in Bahrain, as well as missile defence systems and radars and satellite reception systems in Kuwait.
"With this radar sweep, the enemy should prepare for even more decisive and powerful waves of drone and missile attacks," the Guards said in a statement carried by IRNA.
The announcement came as the United States said it struck Iranian military command centres, air defence systems and missile launch sites in overnight attacks.
Iran's army said it targeted "three major US bases in Kuwait" with kamikaze drones.
Targets including administrative buildings and direction-finding antennas at Camp Arifjan, a helicopter parking area at Camp Al Udairi and "the troop accommodation building" at Ahmad Al Jaber Air Base, according to Iranian state TV IRIB.
The Iranian army said early Tuesday it had targeted a US base in Kuwait with missiles, as President Masoud Pezeshkian said the conflict had morphed into a "full-scale war".
"The army's ground forces targeted the HIMARS missile systems of the US terrorist army stationed at the Arifjan base in Kuwait with surface-to-surface missiles," state news agency IRNA said, quoting the army's public relations officials.
"HIMARS is a mobile missile system with the ability to move quickly against ground targets, which, when targeted, causes damage to the offensive and defensive layers and reduces the enemy's missile power in aggressive crimes," it said.
Camp Arifjan, located south of Kuwait City, accommodates elements of the US Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard.
Iran stops two oil tankers in Hormuz
Iran's Revolutionary Guards said Tuesday they stopped two "non-compliant oil tankers" attempting to transit the Strait of Hormuz, state news agency IRNA reported.
"Two non-compliant oil tankers attempting to pass through the unsafe southern route of the Strait of Hormuz were stopped after explosions caused extensive fires aboard them," the Guards said in a statement carried by IRNA.
US strikes Iran command centres, maritime capabilities
The US military said Monday night it had completed its latest round of strikes against Iran, targeting various sites to counter Tehran's ability to attack ships transiting the Strait of Hormuz.
"US forces struck Iranian military command centers, maritime capabilities, missile and drone launch sites, and air defense systems to degrade Iran's ability to continue attacking commercial vessels flowing through the Strait of Hormuz," CENTCOM said in a post on X.
US issues 'worldwide caution' for citizens
The US State Department on Monday issued an alert urging American citizens around the world to "exercise increased caution" over the war with Iran.
The alert said that "due to heightened tensions in the Middle East, the security environment remains complex with the potential for unforeseen escalation."
"Americans outside the Middle East should reconsider travel to and through the region," it said, while warning of the heightened possibility of attacks targeting US diplomatic facilities "or at locations associated with the United States and Americans throughout the world."
New US strikes amid Trump warning
US President Donald Trump warned Iran on Monday that it would pay "many times over" for every American soldier killed, while Tehran's Yemeni allies, the Houthi rebels, threatened to broaden the war with a blockade of Saudi ports.
Following the deaths of at least three US soldiers in the past several days, the United States launched a new round of strikes against Iran late Monday, the tenth consecutive night of attacks.
Hours later, the Iranian army said it had targeted US assets in Kuwait, after the Revolutionary Guards earlier claimed to have struck sites in Jordan, Bahrain and Syria.
Jordan's army said its air defences had downed three Iranian missiles targeting the kingdom, with no injuries or damage reported.
Trump issued his latest warning to Tehran in a post on Truth Social after the confirmed deaths of three more US soldiers brought the total number of American fatalities in the war to 17.
With the breakdown of the US-Iran ceasefire, nearly 100 US servicemembers have been wounded since July 7, the Pentagon said on Monday, most with minor concussions.
"Every time Iran kills an American Soldier they will pay for that killing many times over!" Trump said. "This directive has been passed on to Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Daniel Caine, and every Leader in the Military."
US Central Command said American forces launched a new round of strikes on Iran on Monday "designed to further degrade Iranian military capabilities used to attack commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz."
As Trump ramped up his threats, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said the conflict with the United States has entered a new phase.
"The reality is that today the Islamic Republic of Iran is engaged in a full-scale war," Pezeshkian said.

In the Strait of Hormuz, meanwhile, sailors abandoned a vessel set on fire in an attack, according to the UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) agency.
The Revolutionary Guards had earlier said two oil tankers trying to transit the strait "exploded and were brought to a halt."
UKMTO later reported another vessel struck near the strait off the coast of the United Arab Emirates, with the crew reported safe.
And early Tuesday, UKMTO reported yet another tanker had been struck off the coast of Oman by an "unknown projectile."
Despite the latest fighting, Iranian foreign ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei said diplomatic exchanges with Washington via mediators were ongoing. "Ideas have been conveyed to us by certain mediators," Baqaei said.
