A photograph of former member of the National Assembly (MNA) and Awami Raj Party Chairman Jamshed Dasti and his wife has gone viral on social media, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Dasti has said that the walima ceremony will be held in October this year. He has also said that he intends to serve ‘daal’ at the function.
Dasti, who had married a girl from Peshawar only three days ago on June 18, 2022, left Muzaffargarh, his hometown, along with members of his family, relatives and friends early in the morning.

Talking to Rohi TV channel before leaving for Peshawar, Dasti remembered his mother with tear in his eyes. “Today, I am missing my mother very much,” he said, adding, “Not many people were included in the marriage party.”
However, on that day he stopped short of giving the date for walima ceremony, saying it would be held later.

He also said that although he had promised to serve ‘Daal’ at the function, but right now he was not sure he would be able to fulfil that promise given high inflation.
He said that although all his sympathies were with Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, he had not joined the party as yet.
