Dua Lipa delivered a night to remember at Wembley Stadium, surprising her fans by bringing out iconic 90s band Jamiroquai during her electrifying performance.
The 29-year-old pop sensation wowed the 90,000-strong audience in a dazzling diamante bodysuit, marking a major milestone in her career by performing at the iconic venue just like her idol Madonna.
Fans erupted in excitement as Jamiroquai's frontman, Jay Kay, 55, made a dramatic entrance on stage wearing his signature black hat with a purple trim, purple trousers, and a white fringe jacket. Together, Dua and Jay performed the band’s classic hit Virtual Insanity, much to the crowd’s delight.
“She brought out Jamiroquai! She did that for me,” a fan posted online, while another said, “Just saw Dua Lipa bring Jamiroquai out at Wembley. Some month and I haven’t even got to Glasto yet.”
The performance was a full-circle moment for Dua, whose first UK gig nine years ago was held at a modest 375-capacity venue in Hackney. Her meteoric rise continues to draw comparisons with the Queen of Pop, Madonna, as she cements her place among music’s elite.
