The Punjab government on Saturday issued the notification for the enforcement of section 144 across the province from 1st to 10th of the holy month of Muharram, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to the notification, there will be a ban on pillion riding on the 9th and 10th of the holy month; however, aged people, women and the personnel of law-enforcement agencies (LEAs) will be exempted from the ban.
Similarly, there would also be a ban on the display of all types of weapons and explosives, read the notification.
