The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has made it easier for residents and visitors to check their visa validity online within seconds, helping individuals avoid overstays and penalties.
According to reports, the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP)) has announced a 30-day grace period for individuals affected by extraordinary regional circumstances. During this period, those impacted can either regularize their visa status or leave the country without facing fines. The grace period is valid until July 9, 2026, and also applies to individuals who were previously unable to depart due to regional disruptions.
Authorities have advised visa holders—both residents and tourists—to regularly check their visa status through official online platforms to ensure compliance.
