The federal government has decided to begin the online registration process for Hajj 2027 on Monday, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.
According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the registration will be carried out through the ministry’s online portal, allowing intending pilgrims to apply from home.
The government has decided that only those who complete registration process within the due date will be eligible to perform Hajj next year.
Authorities stated that the registration process will remain open until the allocated quota is filled, after which it will be closed without prior notice.
The ministry has also clarified that no registration fee will be charged from applicants.
Officials further said that applicants must ensure their passports remain valid until November 2027, making it a mandatory requirement for registration.
The ministry added that registered applicants will also be eligible to proceed under the private Hajj scheme, in line with existing arrangements.
