In an incident of house trespass, some policemen, without warrants and with lady constables accompanying them, barged into a house of a citizen in Phase 7 of the DHA, Lahore; smashed cameras installed inside the home; stole 15 tolas of gold and cash; and fled, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
Women, who were present in the house at the time of the incident, alleged that the cops, who were both in uniform and plainclothes, held them hostage at gunpoint and locked them in a room.
They said that the policemen held them hostage for four hours and also made their videos as well as of their children.
They said that the cops did not give any reason why they forced their entry into their house.
Besides that, the women went on to say, the policemen forced them not to disclose to anybody that took away their belongings.
On the other hand, footage of the incident has been obtained from the CCTV cameras installed outside the affected family’s neighbours’ homes.
