Budget 2026-27: NA approves 58 demands for grants

The process of approving the demands for grants has begun in the National Assembly session, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

In this regard, two demands for grants of more than Rs3.89 billion from the Climate Change Division approved.

Two demands for grants of more than Rs27.99 billion from the Commerce Division were approved.

Five demands for funds of more than Rs1.25 trillion from the Communications Division approved.

Five demands for grants of more than Rs3067 billion from the Defence and Defence Division approved.

Two demands for grants of more than Rs2.11 billion from the Defence Production Division approved.

Two demands for grants of more than Rs15.10 billion funds from the Economic Affairs Division approved.

Nine demands for grants of more than Rs1.26 trillion from the Federal Education and Vocational Training approved.

Two demands for grants of more than Rs68.17 billion from the Foreign Affairs Division approved.

Two demands of more than Rs22.31 billion from the Housing and Construction Division approved.

Four demands of more than Rs2.33 billion approved by Human Rights Division.

Two demands of more than Rs29.53 billion of the Industries and Production Division approved.

Three demands of more than Rs27.57 billion of the Information and Broadcasting Division approved.

Two demands of more than Rs42.7 billion of the Ministry of Information Technology approved.

Two demands of more than Rs45.4 billion of the Interior Division and its subordinate agencies approved.

Two demands of more than Rs5.2 billion of the Inter-Provincial Coordination Division approved.

Two demands of more than Rs3.18 billion of the Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Division approved.

Seven demands of more than Rs24.91 billion of the Law and Justice Division approved.

One demand for grants of Rs.1.2 billon of the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs approved. 

Two demands of Rs37.21 billion of Ministry of Planning Division approved 

Two demands for grants of Rs1.74 billion of Privatization Division approved.

National Assembly approved 89 demands worth over Rs4.048 billion from 29 ministries and divisions, including Senate.

National Assembly approved the demands of the divisions by majority votes.
