Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari visited renowned Punjabi singer Naseebo Lal's residence after getting to know that she was being subjected to domestic violence by her husband.
Azma Bukhari also presented a bouquet of flowers to Naseebo Lal on behalf of CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
Chairman of the Privileges Committee, Samiullah Khan, also accompanied her during the visit.
Azma Bukhari assured Naseebo Lal of full support from the Punjab Chief Minister.
In response, Naseebo Lal expressed her gratitude, thanking both Maryam Nawaz and Azma Bukhari for their love and support.
Naseebo Lal praised CM Maryam for her work and efforts saying, "Maryam Nawaz is following in her father’s footsteps. Mian Nawaz Sharif always encouraged artists, and may Allah Almighty help her."
Naseebo Lal had previously filed a case against her husband for domestic violence. However, she later withdrew the case after he apologized.
