Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Chairman and former foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari offered Eid-ul-Fitr prayers at Garhi Khuda Bakhsh, where he joined worshippers at the mausoleum of the martyrs of democracy, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Saturday.
Following the prayers, Bilawal offered special supplications for the stability of Pakistan and the prosperity of its people. He also prayed for peace in the Middle East, particularly in Palestine.
According to the channel report, after the Eid congregation, the PPP chairman interacted warmly with citizens, exchanging greetings and handshakes.
Bilawal Bhutto later visited the graves of prominent members of the Bhutto family, offering prayers at the mausoleums of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto.
The PPP chairman also laid floral wreaths at the graves of Begum Nusrat Bhutto, Shireen Amir Begum, Mir Murtaza Bhutto and Mir Shahnawaz Bhutto.
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Syed Qaim Ali Shah and Nisar Khuhro accompanied Bilawal Bhutto during the visit.
