Former prime minister Imran Khan on Saturday spoke with his sons by telephone from Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail, 24NewsHD TV reported.
According to jail sources, Khan, the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), spoke to his sons Qasim and Sulaiman for approximately 25 to 30 minutes.
The sources said the two sons asked their father about his health during the call.
Khan appeared pleased after speaking with his children, the sources added.
Both Kasim and Sulaiman were present during the telephone conversation.
There was no immediate official statement from prison authorities regarding the call.
