Madame Tussauds in London has unveiled a striking new wax figure of the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, on Wednesday.
According to Hello! magazine, the regal figure is dressed in a replica of Kate's shimmering pink Jenny Packham gown, first worn in 2023. The look is completed with a replica of the iconic 'Lover's Knot' tiara, famously worn by the late Princess Diana.
The lifelike statue also features the Royal Victorian Order blue sash, the Royal Family Order of Elizabeth II, and replica Greville Diamond Chandelier earrings. It has been placed in the attraction’s throne room, standing alongside wax figures of Prince William, King Charles, and Queen Camilla.
Steve Blackburn, senior general manager at Madame Tussauds London, shared his enthusiasm: "We are delighted that a new figure of the much-loved Catherine, Princess of Wales, has officially landed in The Royal Palace Experience at our attraction in the heart of London, continuing our centuries-long work with the royal family.
Kate, majestically crafted by our talented studio team, has been sculpted to ensure her resemblance is fit for a future queen, alongside her dashing husband."
Royal fans particularly praised the attention to detail in the sculpture’s side profile.
Prince William’s figure also received a style update, now dressed in a black Ede & Ravenscroft tuxedo, paired with a white bow tie and replicas of his Order of the Garter sash and star, as well as several army medals.
Kate and William were first immortalised at Madame Tussauds in 2012, based on their outfits from their 2010 engagement announcement. According to the museum, it took four months for the chief sculptors to capture their likeness using a combination of photographs and video footage.
