Karachi Kings' fast bowler Mir Hamza has declared himself fully fit and ready for the high-pressure eliminator clash against arch-rivals Lahore Qalandars in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 10.

The match is set to take place on Thursday at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

Speaking to the media on Wednesday, Hamza addressed concerns about his fitness following an injury scare during an earlier match against Peshawar Zalmi.

"I'm completely fit. Everyone had been asking about my fitness," he said.

Despite the setback, Hamza returned to play against Islamabad United, where he took one wicket for 41 runs in his four-over spell.

Looking ahead to the eliminator, Hamza expressed excitement about the iconic Karachi vs Lahore rivalry.

"These matches are always exciting. Both teams are major PSL rivals," he remarked, adding that the atmosphere would be electric despite fluctuating weather conditions.

To a question, he replied, “It’s an important match. Everyone has to deliver,” he said.

Hamza emphasized that both bowlers and batters need to step up in the knockout game.

"Earlier, I used to worry about not being selected. But not anymore," he admitted.

He also praised Karachi Kings' captain David Warner, highlighting the benefits of playing under a seasoned international leader. “Warner is a big name. Sharing the dressing room with him allows us to learn and understand the Australian mindset,” Hamza said.
