Duty Commissioner Nadeem Abru has imposed Section 144 for 30 days in Naushahro Feroze district of Sindh, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday.
According to a notification, rallies, sit-ins, public protests, and weapons will be prohibited under the section.
The step has been taken in the wake of yesterday’s mob attack on the Sindh Home Minister’s residence.

An angry mob torched the house of Ziaul Hassan Lanjar in Moro town of Naushehro Feroze after the police clashed with protesters. One person was killed while another 11, including three policemen, sustained injuries.
