The United States has strongly condemned the horrific and inhumane terrorist attack on a school bus in Khuzdar, Balochistan, which left six people, including four children, martyred and dozens injured, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel on Wednesday.
In a message posted on the social media platform X, US Chargé d’Affaires to Pakistan Natalie Baker expressed deep sorrow and joined Pakistan’s leadership in mourning the senseless loss of innocent lives.
“We join Pakistan’s leaders in condemning the brutal and callous attack on a school bus in Khuzdar, Balochistan,” Baker said. “The killing of innocent children is incomprehensible. We stand with the families who lost their loved ones and pray for the swift recovery of the injured.”
CDA Baker further said, “We stand with those in Pakistan working to end this senseless violence.”
Earlier in the day, a devastating bomb blast targeted a school bus in Khuzdar. The attack killed the bus driver, his assistant, and four schoolchildren.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), more than 40 students were injured in the blast.
The government has blamed Indian agents for orchestrating the cowardly act of terror, as stated in an official ISPR release from Rawalpindi.
