A lineman was seriously injured in an alleged attack on a WAPDA team by electricity thieves in Burewala on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to sources, the WAPDA official was subjected to violence after argument over replacing faulty meter in village 417 EB.
Suspects attacked lineman with bricks, clubs and sticks.
Lineman Rana Ghulam Mustafa seriously injured in attack and was shifted to THQ Hospital.
WAPDA employees protested against incident and demanded arrest of accused.
Police were informed about incident which initiated action against accused.
