Pakistani actress Momina Iqbal has appeared before the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) in connection with her harassment allegations against a Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) lawmaker.
According to reports by 24NewsHD TV channel, the actress arrived at the NCCIA office alongside her lawyer and submitted evidence as well as detailed information to investigating officials regarding the case.
PML-N MPA Saqib Chaddar also appeared before NCCIA along with his legal team.
Earlier Actress Momina Iqbal’s lawyer told media that the actress and MPA Saqib Chadhar were in friendship since 2022 and MPA had also demanded her hand from Momina Iqbal’s family for marriage. Later it was revealed that MPA was already married and he wanted to have third marriage with Momina Iqbal. Resultantly actress refused to marry her and part away from MPA.
Actress’ lawyer told media that when Momina got engaged with some one else and they were going to marry then MPA Saqib Chadhar started harassing her and threatened her would-be husband. Moreover, Saqib Chadhar also get registered a case against her future husband.
Actress’ lawyer said that they have submitted all proofs and details of harassment to NCCA. He hoped that Actress Momina will get justice from the concerned authorities. Actress’ lawyer said her marriage ceremony will be held on fixed date. Actress’ lawyer praised Chief Minister for taking up the harassment issue.
The case gained attention after the actress publicly accused a PML-N MPA and his wife of repeatedly harassing her.
Sources said investigators continued questioning Momina Iqbal about the alleged harassment and the material she had presented before the authorities.
Earlier, Momina Iqbal had also shared Instagram stories claiming that she was facing continuous harassment and even receiving threats to her life.

According to reports, the NCCIA had summoned both Momina Iqbal and the accused PML-N MPA for questioning on the same day.
However, while the actress appeared before investigators, the lawmaker reportedly did not appear despite being asked to reach the office at 1 pm.
The controversy first surfaced on social media after Momina Iqbal shared posts claiming she was being harassed and threatened.
Her posts quickly went viral, sparking widespread discussion across social media platforms, with many users demanding a proper investigation into the allegations.

Punjab Information Minister Uzma Bukhari has also reacted to the controversy surrounding harassment allegations against a Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) lawmaker, calling the matter “sensitive” and urging people to speak carefully about the issue.
Speaking on the controversy, Uzma Bukhari said the matter involves both a female complainant and a sitting MPA, which is why the situation should be handled responsibly and without rushing to conclusions.
“This is a very sensitive matter, so people should speak carefully,” she stated while addressing the growing discussion surrounding the case.
The minister emphasized that protecting the dignity and respect of women remains the top priority, especially in cases involving harassment allegations and public accusations.

Counsel for PML-N MPA Saqib Khan Chadhar, Advocate Mian Ali Ashfaq, presented his client’s stance regarding the ongoing harassment case involving actress Momina Iqbal, ARY News reported.
While speaking to the media on Thursday, the lawyer stated that Momina Iqbal and Saqib Khan Chadhar had been in contact since 2020, and said that detailed facts spanning the last five years would be presented during the proceedings. He added that the legal team has requested one week to submit a comprehensive response in the case.
Advocate Ali Ashfaq further alleged that Momina Iqbal received continuous financial support over time and also made monetary demands exceeding Rs50 million.
He claimed that the matter became complicated due to personal circumstances, including the actress’s earlier marital status, which, according to him, affected the relationship between the two parties.
The counsel said the defence would present all relevant details before the investigating authorities in due course as the inquiry continues.
According to details, both parties will reappear before the investigation team tomorrow as the inquiry continues into allegations levelled by the actress against the lawmaker.
Officials directed Saqib Khan Chadhar to bring his mobile phone along for forensic examination and evidence review during the next hearing, sources said.
Earlier, both Momina Iqbal and the PML-N MPA recorded their statements before the NCCIA investigation team and submitted evidence related to their respective claims.
The investigation agency is currently reviewing the material provided by both sides as part of the ongoing probe into the harassment allegations.
Authorities confirmed that further questioning of both parties is scheduled for tomorrow, as the inquiry moves into its next phase.
