Pakistan and Germany have reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthen cooperation in defence, political, economic, trade and investment, and educational domains.
This came at a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul on the sidelines of the fourth EU Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum in Brussels.
The Deputy Prime Minister appreciated Germany's commitment of 114 million euros for 2025-26, focused on climate and energy transition, sustainable economic development, vocational training, and social protection in Pakistan.
Ishaq Dar also invited the German leadership to visit Pakistan.
During the meeting, both sides expressed satisfaction with the positive trajectory of Pakistan-Germany relations.
They also exchanged views on regional and global developments and agreed to maintain close dialogue to promote mutual understanding and enhance collaboration in areas of shared interest.
Meanwhile, Ishaq Dar also met with the Secretary of Foreign Affairs of Philippines Ma. Theresa P. Lazaro on the sidelines of fourth EU Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum in Brussels.
The two sides reviewed the entire spectrum of bilateral relations and identified opportunities and possibilities for further mutual cooperation.
Both sides expressed satisfaction at their ongoing collaboration at the UN and other multilateral fora, especially through support to each other's candidatures and reaffirmed their commitment to stay in close contact.
Pakistan, Slovenia agree to enhance ties in diverse fields
Pakistan and Slovenia have agreed to remain in regular contact, bilaterally and within multilateral frameworks, to further advance cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
This came at a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and his Slovenian counterpart Tanja Fajon on sidelines of fourth EU Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum in Brussels.
During the meeting, both leaders discussed the full spectrum of bilateral relations and exchanged views on key regional & global developments.
They also signed an MOU establishing the mechanism for Bilateral Political Consultations between Pakistan and Slovenia.
Ishaq Dar invited Minister Fajon to Islamabad for the inaugural round of consultations and encouraged Slovenia's participation in Pak-EU Business Forum to be held in April 2026.
Pakistan and Denmark agree to maintain close contact at multilateral fora
Meanwhile, Pakistan and Denmark have agreed to maintain close contact at multilateral fora, particularly as fellow non-permanent members of the UN Security Council for the term 2025-26.
The understanding to this effect came at a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen today on sidelines of fourth EU Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum in Brussels.
During the meeting, both leaders appreciated the positive trajectory of Pak-Denmark relations, and exchanged views on enhancing bilateral cooperation in economy, investment, trade, green energy, and people to people exchanges.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar also met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus Constantinos Kombos.
During the meeting both sides exchanged views on bilateral cooperation in diverse fields, and agreed to stay in close contact in this regard.
Ishaq Dar meets with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands David van Weel.
Both the Ministers discussed areas of bilateral cooperation and noted with appreciation the positive trajectory of relations between Pakistan and the Netherlands.
