A meeting of the National Finance Commission (NFC) was convened on December 4 to discuss the new 11th financial award, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
All the chief ministers and members of the National Finance Commission from all four provinces will attend the meeting.
The participants of the meeting with review the distribution of resources among the provinces.
The high-level huddle will also finalize Terms of Reference (TORs) for the meetings.
There were earlier reports that the IMF proposals for changes to the NFC Award will also be reviewed. To consult on this matter, the federal government has invited the provinces to the NFC meeting on December 4.
Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, along with the finance ministers of all four provinces, will attend the session.
