Khawaja Adnan ZahIr has been appointed Director General FATF Secretariat, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Thursday.
The Establishment Division issued a notification, stating the appointment has been made on a one-year contract with effect from October 22.
Adnan Zahir is a retired officer of the Inland Revenue Service.
