Anti-smog gun developed by engineers of University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore has been inaugurated, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
Senior Provincial Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb has inaugurated the Anti-smog gun.
Vice Chancellor (VC) UET Dr. Shahid Munir, Minister for Higher Education Rana Sikander Hayat, Information Minister Azma Bukhari, Chairman PHEC Dr. Iqrar Ahmed Khan, Secretary HED Ghulam Farid, VC GCU Dr. Omar Chaudhry, Dean Mechanical Dr. Tauseef Azad, CC New Campus Dr. Shahid Imran, Dean Electrical Dr. Muhammad Shoaib, Registrar Muhammad Asif,
PRO Dr. Tanveer Qasim, Moin Sultan and their team also participated the occasion.
The Vice Chancellor briefed the participants about the anti-smog gun.
Dr. Shahid Munir said this gun will be used to reduce dust, air pollution.
This modern dust suppression system will control dust at construction sites, Dr. Shahid Munir said.
Punjab Senior Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb said the anti-smog gun is a great success of UET.
Marriyum Aurangzeb said Punjab government will benefit from this machine gun.
She said the issue of smog is at the top of the Punjab government's priorities.
Minister for Higher Education Rana Sikandar Hayat said government will provide full financial support to UET.
