A 5.3 magnitude earthquake jolted several parts of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa shortly before midnight on Tuesday, 24NewsHD TV reported.
According to the report, tremors were felt in Charsadda, Upper Dir, Lower Dir and Swabi.
Also, Shangla, Mohmand, Takhtbhai and Mingora were shaken by the earthquake.
Bajaur, Malakand, Haripur and Chitral also felt the jolts.
In Punjab, tremors were felt in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Attock.
The epicentre of the earthquake was found in the Hindukush Region in Afghanistan and it was 234 metres deep.
