Govt issues surveillance report about dengue in Islamabad

The district administration issued a surveillance report about the dengue situation in Islamabad, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.

According to the details, as many as 33 new cases of dengue fever were reported over the last twenty-four hours. 14 cases were reported from rural areas, and 19 cases were detected in urban areas.

The report further stated that anti-dengue teams visited 467 locations in different sectors and union councils.

During larvae checking, four positive and nine negative cases were reported.

Anti-dengue spray was conducted at 1141 points. The district administration warned of strict action over violation of Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs) regarding dengue.

The district administration said that anti-dengue measures will continue till the complete elimination of dengue.

The district administration advised citizens to extend full support to curb the spread of dengue.
