The Federal Investigation Agency's (FIA) Corporate Crime Circle and Sindh Rangers raided a mobile market in Saddar, Karachi, and arrested an accused red-handed in selling fake US dollars, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
According to the details, after receiving a credible intelligence report, the FIA and Rangers jointly conducted this operation.
During the operation, FIA and Pakistan Rangers personnel recovered 95,000 US dollars, 16,180 Pakistan rupees, and a mobile phone from the possession of the accused.
Later, the accused was identified as Mohammad Shafiq. Further investigation was underway till the filing of this report.
