Sindh Department of Services has removed Director-General Health Pervaiz Ahmad Shaikh from his post with immediate effect on Monday after he testified before Judicial Commission investigating Mir Raza murder, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The charge of DG Health was assigned to Coordinator Anti-Polio Emergency Operation Sheharyar Memon.
It is necessary to mention here that DG Health Pervaiz Ahmad was removed from the post when he was recording his statement before the Judicial Commission formed to investigate the Mir Raza murder.
Sources said that after the exhumation of Mir Raza’s grave, the DG Health revealed the name of Sheharyar Memon, who was performing his duties as special secretary in the health department in the medical board constituted for Mir Raza.
