Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Monday telephoned Jamaat-e-Islami Deputy Emir Liaquat Baloch and expressed condolences over the death of Hafiz Muhammad Idrees, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
During the conversation, Fazlur Rehman paid tribute to the late Hafiz Muhammad Idrees for his religious, national and community services.
The JUI-F chief said Hafiz Muhammad Idrees’ religious services would be remembered for generations.
Fazlur Rehman also expressed grief over the demise and prayed for the elevation of the deceased’s ranks and patience for his bereaved family.
Hafiz Muhammad Idrees, a senior Jamaat-e-Islami leader and former deputy emir, passed away in Lahore on Monday after being ill for several weeks.
