The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has decided to appoint 36 new officers and staff members to speed up the verification of documents and apostilles, the 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
According to the sources, the foreign ministry has started steps to make the document and apostille verification process faster and more transparent.
The decision to increase staff was taken to ensure that applications are processed within the required time.
Sources said additional officers and staff will be appointed to help complete the verification of apostilles and other documents within the set period.
The sources said the selection of the new staff was being carried out in accordance with transparency requirements and the relevant rules.
The ministry expects the additional staff to further reduce the time required for the verification of apostilles and documents once the new appointments have been made.
Sources also said that most of the staff currently dealing with document verification at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are from outside the ministry.
