Consultations on the Automobiles and Auto Parts Manufacturing Policy 2026-31 continued on Monday as the concerned committee reviewed various provisions of the draft policy, 24NewsHD TV reported.
Federal Minister for Law and Justice Azam Nazeer Tarar chaired the meeting, which was attended by Federal Minister for Climate Change Dr Musadik Masood Malik and representatives of relevant ministries and departments.
The participants held detailed discussions on different provisions of the proposed policy and reviewed concerns raised by various ministries and relevant institutions.
The committee decided to hold further consultations with stakeholders to make the policy more practical, effective and workable.
It was also agreed that discussions on the remaining provisions of the draft would continue at the next meeting.
