PPP celebrates Bilawal Bhutto’s 38th birthday

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) celebrated the 38th birthday of its chairman, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari today, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Bilawal, who is the grandson of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and son of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and President Asif Ali Zardari, was born in Karachi on September 21, 1988. He completed his education at Oxford University and also got his political education from his mother, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, ex-prime minister of Pakistan.

After the tragic death of his mother and ex-prime minister of Pakistan Benazir Bhutto in December 2007, he was elected as chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was first elected as a Member of the National Assembly (MNA) in 2018 from the Larkana constituency, but he also took part in elections from Lyari.

Party workers and leaders turned out in large numbers at a ceremony organised by PPP Lahore Vice President Amir Butt to mark the birthday of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. PPP Lahore General Secretary Dr Ayesha Shaukat, Organising Committee Convener Majeed Ghauri and senior party leader Shahida Jabeen also attended.

Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) Chairperson Senator Rubina Khalid has felicitated Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on his 38th birthday, highlighting his political role and commitment to democratic values.

In her message, Senator Rubina Khalid said Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had played a prominent role in the country’s political struggle from a young age and was carrying forward the democratic mission and public service legacy of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.
