Four labourers die due to gas leakage at Chakwal paper mills

Four labourers lost their lives due to a poisonous gas leak while cleaning a deep tank at Manwal Paper Mills in Chakwal on Monday, 24News HD TV channel reported.
According to rescue officials, the labourers fell into the eight-foot-deep tank during the cleaning operation in the paper mills in Chakwal.
The sources said that the victims of the toxic gas in the mills were identified as Amir, Zeeshan, Muhammad Saqib, and Jamshed.
The rescue teams promptly shifted the deceased labourers to the District Headquarters Hospital after recovering from the toxic gas tank.
Reportedly, the police sealed the Minwal Paper Mills and raids were being carried out to arrest the owner of the mills.
Minwal is a village situated at about 14 KM from Chakwal City where the Minwal Paper Mills was operational. Minwal village contains lots of mountains, lakes and a Dam named ‘Minwal Dam’.
