The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has announced the postponement of its general recruitment tests in Islamabad due to the prevailing security situation in the federal capital, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday.
According to the commission, the examinations, which were scheduled to take place from 25 April to 6 May, have been delayed following the closure of government offices in the Red Zone.
Sources said the decision was taken to ensure the safety of candidates and staff.
The commission has advised candidates to wait for further updates, stating that a revised schedule will be issued shortly. I
t also urged applicants to regularly check its official website for the latest information regarding the rescheduling of the tests.
