A teenage girl was gang raped in Warh area of district Qambar, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
Police registered a case on the complaint of the victim girl’s uncle at Warh police station.
The FIR was registered against five accused including Wazir Chutoo, Khadim Chutoo, and Isa Kharal.
Police arrested the main accused, Wazir Chutoo in the case.
According to the FIR, 18-year-old Nazia Channa, a resident of Waris Colony, was passing through her muhallah when the accused kidnapped her, took her with them, and raped her five days ago.
The medical test of the victim girl conducted at the Warh Tehsil Hospital proved rape.
Police said they were investigating the incident and the results of some reports of the victim girl were yet to come.
Man kills estranged wife in Karachi
Separately, a Charsadda man killed his estranged wife who was staying at her parents’ house in Baldia Rashidabad area of Karachi.
Reportedly, Sadia got married to Noor Ullah, a resident of Shabqadar, Charsadda, 25 years ago. The couple quarreled, and angry Sadia left her husband’s house and came to live with her parents in their house in Karachi two months ago.
On the day of the incident, Noor Ullah came to Karachi to woo his wife. But she didn’t agree and refused to go with him.
During their argument, Noor Ullah flew into a rage. He took out his gun and shot three fires at his wife, killing her on the spot. After murdering her, he ran away.
According to SP Mughees Hashmi, Sadia could not produce any heir for her husband for the last 25 years. Sometime back, Noor Ullah contracted second marriage which became a reason for their quarrel.
Police collected three empty bullet shells from the crime scene.
They are conducting raids to arrest the accused.
