PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has ordered Sindh Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah to appoint Fatima Majeed as chairman of Fisheries department, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
It was decided during a meeting of coastal area representatives at Chief Minister's House.
PPP chairman on the occasion made important decision regarding fisheries, as he nominated a woman as the chairman of fisheries. According to PPP sources, Fatima Majeed belongs to a fisher family.
Sources said the position of Chairman Fisheries is of major importance. In the past, bids worth billions of rupees were made for the post of Chairman Fisheries but this time the dreams of the vested interests were dashed.
