CPNE delegation praises ISPR's role in 'War of Truth'

A delegation of the Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors (CPNE) led by Kazim Khan met Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, director general of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

On this occasion, CPNE representatives paid a rich tribute to the armed forces of Pakistan for their excellent performance in the War of Truth. They said that ISPR, media affairs wing of the Pakistan Army, played a key role in all stages of the War of Truth and ensured timely and reliable information in response to the sensational propaganda of the Indian media. This unprecedented victory is the result of a mutual and coordinated strategy of the Pakistani nation, the Government of Pakistan and the military institutions, they elaborated.

Speaking to CPNE officials, the ISPR director general said the youth is the capital of this country and its positive thinking about the country is the proof of Pakistan’s bright future. He said that India's negative thinking and resources are behind all incidents of terrorism. He said that Pakistan’s armed forces are fully capable of eliminating this proxy war with the support of the people.

He said that nefarious attempts to spread despair among the people through negative propaganda in Balochistan will never succeed because the patriotic and zealous people of Balochistan are well aware of the atrocities of these anti-national elements and their foreign masters.

He said the media has always played a responsible and positive role in the problems and challenges faced by Pakistan. During the struggle for truth, he said, the Pakistani media not only demonstrated responsible and high journalistic values ​​but also gave a very effective response to the negative propaganda of the Indian media.

At the end of the meeting, the CPNE delegation presented a commemorative shield to the ISPR director general.
