A sudden fire broke out at a textile factory in Karachi’s SITE area, prompting an immediate response from the fire brigade on Saturday morning, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to rescue officials, three fire brigade vehicles were initially dispatched to the scene.
The firefighting operation was later expanded, with a total of seven fire tenders taking part in efforts to bring the blaze under control. Officials said a snorkel was also being used during the operation.
Firefighters continued their efforts to extinguish the fire and prevent it from spreading to nearby areas.
The cause of the fire and the extent of damage had not been determined at the time of reporting.
Chief Fire Officer said that further details are expected once the firefighting operation is completed and an assessment is carried out.
