Admin’s negligence takes another toddler's life in Karachi

Negligence on the part of the administration took yet another life in Karachi as a four-year-old boy fell into Malir Naddi in Landhi on Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

According to the police, Zaid, a resident of Mansehra Colony in Landhi, went to the stream while playing with kids and fell into it.

As many as 25 people, including six children, have died in the port city since January this year by falling into gutters, streams and nullahs.

Among those who died in this way are a 23-year-old motorcyclist from Surjani Town, 45-year-old Abbas Naqvi from Guru Mandir Chowrangi, 15-year-old Abu Bakr from Sultanabad, 50-year-old Iqbal Masih from Landhi Murtaza Chowrangi, three labourers who were working in Ghas Mandi, five- year-old Ali from Jamshed Road, three-year-old Abdur Rehman from Baldia Muach Goth, three-year-old Asadullah from Surjani Hassan Brohi Goth, and a four-year-old child from Shah Faisal No 2
