Nine Afghan nationals lost their lives and 11 others critically injured in a collision between an oil tanker and a pick-up vehicle in the Chaghi area of Balochistan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Chaghi Mohammad Sharif Kulhoro said that these Afghan nationals were wanted to go to Europe through Iran illegally.
SSP Chaghi said that all the dead and injured persons were shifted to a hospital, where they were provided with best medical treatment.
The SSP said that later all the injured and dead persons were sent back to Afghanistan. He said that there are some human traffickers involved in smuggling Afghan citizens.
The SSP stated that all necessary measures are being taken to apprehend the accused involved in this heinous crime.
Coach crushes two bikers in Shikarpur
Two people died on the spot when a passenger coach crushed their motorbike on the Khanpur Indus Highway of Shikarpur.
The deceased were later identified as Asadullah Pohar and Abdul Shakoor Pohar.
After receiving the report, a police team rushed to the spot and shifted the dead bodies to Khanpur Hospital for completion of the necessary procedure.
Police said that the incident occurred due to overspeeding. Later, the police also arrested the driver of the passenger coach.
