A big setback for the PTI in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) as Sardar Mir Akbar Khan, who was a PTI leader from Bagh, would today announce joining the PML-N, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
Akbar will make the announcement at a press conference he will address along with Engineer Amir Muqam.
Akbar remained a member of the AJK Legislative Assembly four times besides remaining a minister multiple times.
He was twice elected to the assembly on a PML-N ticket, while one time on Muslim Conference and PTI tickets.
He had joined the PTI prior to elections in 2021.
