Gold rate in the country on Saturday hit the record level of Rs95,000 per tola after a surge in the international prices.
The gold rates for Saturday were: Rs81,400 per 10 grams and Rs95,000 per tola in the major cities of the country.
The international price of the glittering metal saw a nine-dollar rise to $1644 per ounce.
