The details of the inside story of yesterday’s meeting between PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari and PDM Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman have been emerged, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Sources divulged to 24NewsHD on Tuesday that among other issues, both the leaders also discussed postponement of Feb 27 Long March announced by the PPP.

According to sources, Maulana regards PPP’s Long March before the PDM’s march scheduled to be held on March 23, a division in the ranks of opposition. That’s why the Maulana tried to convince Mr Zardari to delay PPP’s march

Sources further revealed that Zardari insisted on bringing a no-trust move first in Punjab while Maulana wanted to bring it in the Centre first.

After this meeting, a telephonic contact was held between the Maulana and PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif and it was discussed where did the opposition table its anti-trust motion first.

According to reliable sources, this issue will be sorted during a meeting between Zardari and PML-N President Shahebaz Sharif going to be held later today (Tuesday).

The PML-N sources confirmed that 22 MNAs belonging to the ruling PTI have assured it of their support. So the opposition is pretty sure that without breaking the government allies, the opposition’s no-confidence move will be a success and the government will dislodged.

However, the opposition is still contacting government allies.
