Pakistani actress Aymen Saleem took to her social media and questioned the people who criticized Kubra and Gohar for dancing at their wedding after performing Nikkah in Makkah.
Aymen wondered why the people in our society find it so difficult to be happy for others and respect their choices.
Here is what she said:
A celebrity couple did their Nikkah in a holy place, kept it simple and then enjoyed and celebrated their wedding the way they wanted. How does that affect you?
Why is it so hard for people to be happy for others instead of acting like self-appointed judges?
No one gets to question someone else’s sincerity or faith based on how they choose to celebrate their joy.
Faith is personal. Celebration is personal. If you can’t find it in yourself to be happy for others, the least you can do is mind your own business.
Newlywed couple Kubra Khan and Gohar Rasheed have been severely criticized for dancing on their mehndi night after performing Nikkah in Makkah. People declared their actions 'inappropriate' and 'disrespectful.'
The videos popped up on social media in which the couple can be seen enthusiastically dancing along with their friends and family members.
