The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has revised its policy on performance-based incentives for employees, significantly enhancing the reward amount for outstanding services, 24NewsHD TV reported.
According to an official notification issued on Wednesday, under the revised policy, FBR employees may now receive a reward of up to 24 monthly salaries in a single year for exceptional performance.
The notification clarified that the total reward in any financial year shall not exceed 24 salaries.
The FBR formally issued the notification after making amendments to the Inland Revenue Reward Rules, 2021, aimed at motivating officers and staff to improve efficiency, performance, and revenue collection.
Previously, the reward limit was capped at a maximum of six salaries per financial year.
