President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Thursday that questions around the fate of eastern Ukraine were "not solved yet", after a US special envoy said talks to end the conflict were "down to one issue".
"It's all about the eastern part of our country. It's all about the land. This is the issue which we (have) not solved yet. That's what I think Steve Witkoff spoke" about, Zelensky told reporters in Davos.
Russia, which occupies around 20 percent of Ukraine, is pushing for full control of the country's eastern Donbas region as part of a deal -- but Kyiv has warned ceding ground will embolden Moscow.
Zelensky said he and Trump had found agreement on post-war American security guarantees, a key issue in putting together a plan to end the Russian invasion. After meeting Trump in Davos, Zelensky said the security guarantees were "done", speaking in English to journalists. "The document has to be signed by the sides, by the presidents, and then will go to national parliaments."
