Federal Minister for Energy Hammad Azhar on Thursday took notice of electricity outages in Faisalabad and its surroundings, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
I have asked FESCO board of directors to hold their officers accountable for the dismal and slow response to the feeders outage that occurred in the faisalabad city on Eid day. I have asked them to suspend officials and hold an inquiry immediately.

He tweeted, “I have asked the FESCO board of directors to hold their officers accountable for the dismal and slow response to the feeder outage that occurred in the Faisalabad city on Eid day.”
Hammad Azhar also asked BoDs to suspend officials and hold an inquiry immediately.
A large number of citizens blocked Canal Road for all kinds of traffic to lodge their protest against load shedding. Protesters say FESCO officials are also not responding to the complaints.
