The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) has announced the annual examination results for the year 2025 for Class 12 Home Economics and special candidates (arts regular) groups, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Tuesday.
Addressing a press conference, BIEK chairman Faqir Muhammad Lakho revealed that Arham Faisal, daughter of Faisal Ahmed (Roll No. 2045) from Ra’ana Liaquat Ali Khan Government College of Home Economics, secured the first position with 1,054 marks out of 1,200.
The second position was claimed by Emaan Hashmi, daughter of Shujaat Ali (Roll No. 2044), who scored 988 marks while Shanza Nayab, daughter of Muhammad Aamir (Roll No. 2135), stood third with 980 marks.
In the Special Candidates (Arts Regular Group) category, Syeda Fariha, daughter of Syed Ahsan Rasheed (Roll No. 995539), from DEWA Higher Secondary School, secured the first position with 960 marks out of 1,100.
Her schoolmate Brera Islam, daughter of Shaukat Islam Rana (Roll No. 995533), came second with 925 marks, while Emaan Al-Shams, daughter of Shamsul Haq (Roll No. 995502) from IDA-RIEU School and College for the Deaf, secured third position with 920 marks.
Zareena Rashid, Controller of Examinations, provided detailed statistics for both groups.
In the Home Economics group, 198 students were registered, and 189 appeared in the exams, out of which 112 students passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 59.26%.
