A 60-year-old man lost his life after slipping while attempting to board a moving train at Chawinda Railway Station in Pasrur on Tuesday.
According to initial reports, the deceased, identified as Abdul Rehman, was trying to get on a train traveling from Sialkot to Lahore when his foot slipped, causing him to fall under the train.
The train had made a scheduled stop at Chawinda Station when the unfortunate accident took place.
According to Rescue 1122 sources, Abdul Rehman was dragged under the wheels of the train and died on the spot due to severe injuries.
The dead body was shifted to a nearby medical facility for legal formalities and to be handed over to the family.
