A seminary student lost his life after three teachers brutally tortured him turn by turn for five hours in Swat, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
The incident took place in the Khuwazkhela area of Swat and the police have able to arrest two of the teachers.
Soon after receiving the report, parents and relatives of the student held a demonstration and blocked the main bazaar and road of the area in protest.
The protesters demanded relevant authorities award exemplary punishment to the teachers who were involved in this gruesome incident.
Later, a video surfaced on social media that showed some other incidents of teachers torturing students, after which all students of the madrassah got scared showing that this incident is not limited to one student.
The residents of the area appealed to the government and law enforcement agencies to take effective measures to curb these kinds of incidents in the future.
They further demanded the arrest of all those teachers who committed this heinous crime.
