The first phase of negotiations between lady health workers and officials of the Sindh health department failed, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
After the talks failed, lady health workers changed anti-government slogans and directed all the lady health workers of Sindh to join a sit-in.
Talking with the media, Bushra Arain said that we are deprived of our rights despite working day and night.
She said that lady health workers briefed the Sindh Secretariat officials about the issues being faced by them.
Bushra Arain said that we are facing injustice and we are on a fast. She said that we will stage our sit-in and will now withdraw our demands.
She said that “we will not allow the Sindh government to cut our budget”. She also said that lady health workers will not allow the programme to be handed over to a private institute.
