Lahore police have arrested two suspects in connection with the fatal shooting of a journalist's son in the Harbanspura area on Tuesday.
According to police, the arrested suspects have been identified as Obaid Ali and Niaz.
A murder case was registered against them on the complaint of the victim's father, journalist Iqbal Nadeem.
Initial investigations suggested the killing was the result of a long-standing personal enmity.
The suspects have been handed over to the Investigation Wing for further interrogation and legal proceedings.
The arrests come after Lahore DIG Operations Faisal Kamran took notice of the murder of the young victim, Saad, and directed police to ensure the immediate arrest of those involved.
Police said further investigations are underway to determine all aspects of the case.
