The Pakistan Cricket Board has bestowed upon a transgender, Nayab Ali, an award of ‘Our Heroes’ during a PSL match between Peshawar Zalmi and Karachi Kings in Dubai, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
Nayab Ali has already earned international awards in recognition of her services. The PCB has presented an award to Nayab by declaring her a national hero.
Nayab hails from district Kasur in Punjab. She has made Pakistan proud by winning international awards and shields including Franco German Award and Hero Asia award.
She told media that she has spent all her life while championing the human rights, especially the rights of the transgenders.
